Using natural stone for your
Marble offers you pleasing looks, although it is on the expensive side. Plus maintenance can be a chore. A sturdier alternative is quartz. Twice as strong as granite, your quartz countertops are resistant to stains, more durable and need very little maintenance or resealing of any sort. Certain varieties of quartz come with sparkling accents that offer a chic look for your kitchen.
Soapstone is non porous which means that leaks and spills on your countertops will remain on the surface and not penetrate deep down onto the material. For best results, apply a coating of mineral oil to soapstone to help protect it further from acid and stain attacks.
